~ Wash and trim green beans
(I used haricot certs from Trader Joe’s. These are fresh but they also have frozen which are also awesome. No prep involved)
~ Steam for 7-8 minutes
~ Toss with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper
~ In a dry sauce pan, toast slivered almonds on low/medium heat, stirring frequently until light golden brown.
~ Mix in with green beans.
~ Reserve a few to munch on while salmon is cooking!
~ Save a few also to top the tomato/cuke salad
