French Carrots

Could not be more easy to add some beautiful color and a
healthy dose of vitamins and nutrients
to your plate.

Super simple French Carrots

Peel then slice carrots on the diagonal
Peel and thinly slice one onion (yellow or red)

Add ~1 tsp olive oil to sauté pan on medium heat
Add onions and soften, ~ 5 min stirring occasionally

Add carrots, then add ~ 1/4 cup water to pan and cover

Let carrots steam cook ~ 5 min to soften
Uncover, add a few pats of butter, reduce so any water is absorbed

(sub plant-based butter for vegan option)

Add a few pinches of sugar at the very end
Stir to coat and witness a lovely caramelization and glaze form

Season with lots of coarse black pepper (to taste) and salt

DONE!
So delicious, I could eat this whole pan for my dinner!
